Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
America’s favorite holiday fable, back for its 13th incredible year, is a wonderful, whimsical production that will once again jump right off the pages of the classic Dr. Seuss book and onto the Old Globe’s stage. Based on the true story of conjoined twins Violet and Daisy Hilton who became stars during the Depression, Side Show is a moving portrait of two women joined at the hip whose extraordinary bondage brings them fame but denies them love. 34th Annual San Diego Jazz Festival
Discerning jazz fans call the San Diego Jazz Festival “the crown jewel of jazz festivals.” The event is held during the Thanksgiving weekend at the Town & Country Resort and Convention Center, in San Diego. November 27st to December 1st, 2013. Tickets and information visit www.sdjazzfest.org

Oceanside Turkey Trot 2013
The 5 Mile Run/Walk will start off the race schedule at 7:00 am on Thanksgiving Day. The route will start at the Oceanside Civic Center, then go out along beautiful Oceanside Harbor, before returning to the Civic Center area and dropping down to a finish on The Strand, adjacent the Oceanside Pier. www.osideturkeytrot.com
Thanksgiving Day Run For The Hungry 5K & 10K
Run for the Hungry is a 5K/10K run/walk through downtown San Diego on Thanksgiving morning. Proceeds from this event benefit the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank (www.sandiegofoodbank.org) and the Food Assistance programs of Jewish Family Service (www.jfssd.org). 10K Run – 7:10am; 5K Run/Walk – 8:15am; Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2013. 4th Annual Thank You Run At 4S Ranch
Mission statement: To provide care for people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis especially in regards to equipment that is too expensive for the patient or is not covered by their insurance.
