The San Diego Film Festival, now in it’s twelve year, opens tonight with the very buzzed about film, 12 Years A Slave.
12 Years A Slave, directed by London-born film director Steve McQueen and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender, Benedict Cumberbatch, Brad Pitt, Paul Dano. This much anticipated movie is based on an incredible true story of one man’s fight for survival and freedom.
This year the festival will be honoring the critically acclaimed filmmaker and produceer, Judd Apatow (Knocked up, Superbad) with the Visionary Filmmaker Award on October 3rd at the Museum of Contemporary Art La Jolla.
