There's a horse for everyone here. Ride through trails in a pleasant riding area near the Sweetwater River. Although the rides are guided, they are not walking tours; trotting and cantering is allowed. Trail rides are $40 per hour, $50 for 1.5 hours and $60 for 2 hours. Groups of 10 or more should call for reservations. Private and group lessons are available as well.

Sweetwater Farms

Sweetwater Farms offers horseback riding lessons and trail rides for all levels of riders. Trail rides are $45 an hour with gentle dude ranch horses that everyone will feel comfortable riding. They are open Tuesdays through Sundays and most holidays as well.

Happy Trails Horse Rentals

Happy Trails is located near the only beach in San Diego that allows horseback riding. Guided trail rides are $50 for one Hour Rides, $75 for 1.5 hour rides, $100 for 2 hour horseback riding on the beach San Diego, $135 for 3 hour horseback riding on the beach San Diego.
